Kaya is a Filipino Afrobeats and R&B artist from Las Vegas, Nevada, creating music mula sa puso, alaala, at pagmamahal sa pinanggalingan. Lumaki siyang Filipino sa Amerika—isang lugar na never niyang naramdaman na tunay na “home.” Kahit nandito siya physically, her heart has always been in the Philippines.
Every time Kaya returns to the Philippines, she feels whole. Safe. At home. That feeling of homesickness—the quiet longing to belong—lives deeply in her music. Her songs are honest reflections of her life: the pain, the joy, the confusion, the growth, and the emotions she carries as a Filipina raised abroad.
Kaya writes music that makes you dance, pero pinapaisip ka rin. Music that makes you feel seen. Minsan parang kaibigan—tatawa kasama mo, iiyak kasama mo, at sasamahan ka habang nire-reflect mo ang buhay at mga desisyon mo. Her sound blends English and Tagalog naturally, creating a space where Filipino listeners—especially kababayan living outside the Philippines—can finally feel understood.
Her mission goes beyond music. Kaya wants to be a bridge between cultures, generations, and languages. She wants to represent Filipinos in America who grew up loving a homeland they didn’t always live in. As a new artist, Kaya dreams of returning home someday—owning land, building a farm, and living alongside her kababayan. Until then, she carries the Philippines with her in every song she sings.
